MS, MFTC
Jamie is a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate in the state of Colorado. She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2024 and joined the Child and Family Therapy Center at Lowry in August 2025.
Jamie practices from an attachment-based, systemic perspective, recognizing that children grow, develop, and heal within the context of their most important relationships. She works with children and adolescents ages 3–17 who may be experiencing anxiety, emotional overwhelm, behavioral challenges, or difficulty navigating life transitions. Her approach integrates play, relational connection, and practical skill-building to help children better understand the link between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Jamie has training informed by Theraplay® principles, supporting connection, regulation, and healthy parent-child relationships.
In sessions, Jamie creates a warm, engaging, and developmentally attuned environment where children feel safe to explore their inner world. Through play and experiential activities, children build emotional awareness, strengthen regulation skills, and develop tools they can use in everyday life. She believes that when children feel seen, safe, and securely connected, they are better able to manage anxiety, express themselves, and respond thoughtfully to challenges.
Jamie views parents and caregivers as essential partners in the therapeutic process. She collaborates closely with families to strengthen attachment, support skill development at home, and foster meaningful, lasting change within the family system.
She considers it a true privilege to walk alongside families as they repair, reconnect, and build resilience together.
