Rhonda Wilson


Rhonda Wilson, LPC, NCC graduated with a Master in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Colorado Christian University in 2023.


She has worked under supervision of Dr. Sheryl Ziegler since early 2023 using play and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy tools with children and families navigating divorce, development, life changes, trauma, and other behavioral challenges. 


Rhonda is a retired CPA in the states of Oklahoma, Kansas, and Missouri. She lived as an expatriate in Switzerland for nearly 5 years immersing herself and family into a German-speaking culture while developing sensitivity and awareness of cultural differences and needs of immigrants and expatriates.


Rhonda approaches counseling through use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Person-Centered approach utilizing play in sessions with younger children. She has specific training in Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed Care.


Rhonda believes that our challenges are usually systemic with multiple factors that may need change to improve social, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. She collaborates with the individual and family unit (when appropriate) to unveil personal empowerment and determine healthy pathways forward.


Rhonda has worked with clients of different ages addressing challenges related to anxiety, depression, emotional awareness and regulation, coping skills, interpersonal skills, improved confidence, and decision-making skills.
